The atmosphere is enhanced by the beautiful, calming sounds and vibrations of Tibetan Bells, elegantly performed by Karma Moffett. Tibetan bells create an ambient sound that helps move one into the more meditative Alpha and Theta brain wave frequencies, where we tap into our clarity, intuition, and peace of mind.
Yin is about going into the dark and being willing to emerge in a new form, to let go and trust the process. Yin encourages and guides you to surrender, which is not about quitting, but instead being completely with what is happening in the moment. Then from that place of deep awareness, choosing the next step forward.
Yin yoga emphasizes gently opening and benefiting deep tissues, ligaments, fascia, joints and bones. It also works with the energetic channels of the meridians, nerves and blood system.
Yin is for you if you live fast, slow or somewhere in between.
